The kosher version of a 1950’s Italian supper club. Waiters in white suits cater to your every question & need (4 different waiters checked in on our table). Decor is open-hall old fashioned wood paneling, mirrors, and wall art (very classical vibe). A security guard opens the door for you at the sidewalk (you can ... barely find this restaurant on the street, because the storefront is so non-descript, and you need to squint hard to even find the name of the restaurant). Food is clearly made with care & doesn’t disappoint (only exception was the French fries, which were unusually dry & lacking taste). The focaccia bread basket they give you feels like a meal in itself (thickest, richest focaccia I’ve ever had). Prices are definitely elevated, but you’re getting served a different product here (it’s not your typical kosher restaurant). Not recommended to bring kids here. Menu is tiny (approx 30 items in total). Seating for approx 150 people. Reservations are highly reccomended (on a Tuesday night, the place was packed).
